건치아동의 경석고모형 분석에 관한 통계학적 연구

Abstract
결론
서울시 치과의사협회에서 주관한 1992년도 건치 아동 후보 중 정상적인 교합을 소유하고
있다고 생각되는 아동 41명 (남자 21명, 여자 20명)을 대상으로 하여 경석고모형 분석을 통
해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 상하악 각 치아의 근원심 최대 치관폭경, Bolton ratio, 치열궁 폭경 및 장경, 기져골 폭경
및 장경과 수평 피개도 및 수직 피개도를 계측하여 남녀별 평균치, 표준편차를 얻었다.
2. 상하악 각 치아의 근원심 최대 치관폭경, 치열궁 폭경 및 장경, 기저골 폭경 및 장경은
남자가 여자보다 컸다.
3. Bolton Overall ratio와 수평피개도는 남자에서 크며, Bolton Anterior ratio와 수직피개도
는 여자에서 크게 나타났으나 성별에 따른 유의한 차이는 없었다(P>0.05).
4. 치관 폭경에 있어 건치아동과 한국인을 비교해 보면 남녀의 하악 제1대구치에서만 건치
아동이 작고 이외의 각 치아는 건치아동이 컸다. 또한 건치아동과 미국 백인의 치관 폭경을
비교하였을 때 남녀 모두 상악중절치와 상악 제1대구치에서만 건치아동이 작고 나머지 치아
에서는 건치아동이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to obtain standard measurements of the tooth size,
Boston ratio, width and length of dental arch and basal arch, overbite and overjet of the
children who have normal dentition. The plaster cast of 41 children(21 boys and 20
girls) among the contestants in 1992 Healthy Dentition contest in Seoul were measured
and following results were obtained.
1. Means and standard deviations of the mesio-distal maximum width of the permanent
teeth, Bolton ratio, width and length of the dental arch and basal arch of the upper and
lower dentition and overbite and overjet of the children were obtained.
2. Mesio-distal width of the teeth, width and length of the dental arch and basal arch
of the upper and lower dentition of the boys were larger than those of the girls.
3. Bolton Overall ratio and overjet of the boys were larger than those of the girls and
Bolton Anterior ratio and overbite of the boys were smaller than those of the girls, but
no significant differences were noted between the boys and the girls(p>0.05).
4. In the comparision of the Healthy Dentition Contestants with Korean adults, all teeth
except lower first molar of the Contestants were larger than those of Korean adults. In
the comparision of the Healthy Dentition Contestants with Caucasians, all teeth except
upper central incisor and upper first molar of the Contestants were larger than those of
Caucasians.
